Help with your iPad or tablet at home
For many people the tablet is the most important device at home. DOK Computers visits you at home in Rotterdam and makes sure your iPad or Android tablet works well and is set up safely. You'll learn how to find everything.
What we help with
- Setting up a new iPad or Samsung tablet
- Linking or recovering your Apple ID or Google account
- Installing apps for news, banking, the library and TV
- Setting up email and photos on the tablet
- Making a slow or full tablet fast again
- Video calling family via WhatsApp or FaceTime
Lost your password or Apple ID
A forgotten password is the most common reason a tablet ends up in a drawer. We help you regain access to your account. Then we store your passwords in a way you can find yourself.
Explanations at your own pace
We take our time. You operate the tablet yourself while we watch, so you can do it without us afterwards. Want to practise more? We're happy to plan a second visit.
You can also book an appointment for your parents or neighbours. We'll agree together on what needs to be arranged.
What does tablet help cost?
The rate is €12.50 per 15 minutes, including VAT, with a minimum of 30 minutes.
Within Rotterdam we charge a €10 call-out fee.
A half-hour visit costs €35 in total.
Real-life example
A customer is given an iPad by their children, but no longer knows the Apple ID password. We restore access, install the newspaper, the banking app and WhatsApp and practise video calling together. After about an hour the customer is calling the grandchildren themselves.
